WEEKEND PHOTOS

Last weekend, my friends gathered at Six Feet Under for lunch to celebrate a birthday. We had red velvet cupcakes, seafood and fun.

Afterward, since the weather was divine, Vince and I wandered across the street to the Historic Oakland Cemetery to take some pics. The cemetery was founded in 1850 by the City of Atlanta. It now encompasses 48 acres in downtown Atlanta. It is said that General John Hood watched Atlanta burn to the ground in this cemetery. Margaret Mitchell is also buried here.
They have walking tours all year long, the Halloween tour being the most popular. I hope to get in this year, it fills up fast.
