SUN IN MY BELLY

A few weeks ago, we went to my favorite brunch spot in Atlanta, Sun in My Belly. I brought along my camera so I could share it with you.

I love the food, the atmosphere and where the name came from. It has been said that when Picasso was asked what it was that compelled him to create, his response was "The sun in my belly."

They use local and organic ingredients and every single thing I've had there is amazing. They have a special omlette and quiche every day and you can't go wrong there. They also have the best standard scrambled eggs, grits & buscuit of any place I've been. They put boursin in the eggs, need I say more? And do I need to explain why their Challah french toast stuffed with honeyed ricotta is delicious? Maybe it's the brown sugar glazed berries that it comes with or the pure maple syrup.

So I can't say enough about this place, it's reasonably priced, the food is excellent, they cater and the atmosphere is simple and welcoming. I'm sure their lunch is great too, I've just never been. If you're in the Atlanta area, please check it out.
