Here are a few shots of the Design Party I threw this weekend. I am working at home alone so much of the time that I sometimes forget that other people have opinions other than my own. So for the past 2 years, prior to finalizing my new designs for the National Stationery Show, I have thrown a party to allow my friends and family to critique the designs. Don't worry, I give them food and booze in return.
And they give me an outside look at my designs. For whatever reason, there is always one design that I adore that they don't and this year was no different. This really helps me figure out what to present and what to keep at home.
We had a good time, some people got into deep discussions and some were worn out by the time the party was over. I can't blame them.
I am so fortunate to have great friends and family that are willing to give up their time to help me out.
