NSS 2011

So I did return from the National Stationery Show at around midnight on Wednesday but it has taken me this long to catch up and share my pics with you.

I can honestly say that I have never worked harder in my life as I did on all aspects of preparing for this show. I designed more products and got less sleep but I know it was worth it.

And this being my third year exhibiting, you would think that I would kind of have it down. Well, I kind of did but it seemed like everything that could go wrong did. Okay, that's an exaggeration but it was one thing after another. Our biggest obstacle was planning for an 8x10 booth and showing up to a 10x10 booth. Luckily I had my mom and sister there to figure it out with me.

The whole show was a complete blur mostly I think because I came down with a cold days before leaving for the show. Add lack of sleep and hard work to that mix and I'll admit that I was struggling. As I was just going through the pictures (mostly taken by my sister) I was really surprised how good I looked considering how bad I felt.

The show was a success, it was the debut of my custom wedding album and it was so well received. I had convinced myself that I wasn't going to sell any so it was great to hear all the great feedback.

Once I get some great shots of my new products, I'll share them with you here. I'm off for a mini-vacation but I've already planned my posts so it won't be like last week!

  1. congrats to your success at the NYSS!! I've exhibited there once (for my previous employer) and attended once to walk the show.
It is incredibly exhausting....your booth looks amazing- good luck with your line!
