I broke out my juicer this week in an attempt to detox from my trip to New Orleans and prepping for the trade show prior to that. Just like most people, when I get busy and stressed, I eat poorly and don't take care of myself as I should. I just made this juice and its so good!
Ingredients:
3 large carrots
1 cup spinach
3 stalks celery
1 nub of peeled ginger
1 green apple
Directions:
1. Wash all the veggies and fruit.
2.Trim the tops of the carrots and peel them.
3. De-stem the spinach.
4. Peel the ginger.
5. Core but do not peel the apple.
6. Juice all ingredients together with a juicer.
It's a great way to beat the heat and the ginger gives it a little kick!
