I HAVE A NEW POST WORK HABIT

Since I moved my office (more pics coming) I actually have a commute. I leave the house and come home at the end of the work day (or whenever the work is done). It's strangely strange that everyone does this everyday but I'm getting used to it. I am decidedly more tired when I get home than I used to be when working from home. Maybe it's the drive. So I used to plop down and watch a little tv before getting to making dinner.

TV is a great way to relax your mind after a long day at work, not to mention sitting on the couch rests your body. But I was getting tired of it so I started a new habit. If I get home early enough to do something before dinner time, I go to my bedroom and pick up my book for about 30 minutes. It's quiet, it's relaxing and my cat loves to come in there with me and hang out. It gets the same job done as the tv but I feel better about it.

Currently I'm ready "In the Garden of Beasts" by Erik Larson. My husband was actually reading it being the history buff that he is but school started and teachers don't get a whole lot of free time so I picked it up. I also just found out that Tom Hanks is making it into a movie and starring in it. Sounds good.
