About Avie

HELLO:
My name is Avis and I am the creative force behind Avie Designs, a world traveler, a cook, a wife, a sister, a daughter and a blogger.

HOW IT STARTED:
I started this blog as a way to reach out to my customers, but it has since grown to something beyond an annex to my company. This blog is my sketchbook, my journal, my cookbook and my connection to all my readers.


DECATUR, GEORGIA:
I live, work and blog out of a lovely little condo that I share with my husband in Decatur, Georgia. If you're thinking "that must be way out in the boonies" you're wrong. Decatur is inside the city limits of Atlanta and it offers small town charm with big city proximity.

HOBBIES:
In my spare time I like to work on Avie Designs. Really, it is my true passion and my hobby as well as my day job. Cooking with my husband would have to be my other serious hobby. I also love to travel and see new places and gather inspiration.

AVIE:
Avie has been my nickname that only close friends and family have been allowed to call me, but I am now opening it up for everyone.
