yesterday when my boyfriend came home from teaching his middle school students and told me that his students did not say the pledge of allegiance that morning, they shouted it joyfully. No matter who you voted for, no matter what you believe in, you cannot deny the beauty of an exuberant youth. We can only hope that these young people will grow up to be excited exuberant voting adults.
I almost cried two.
