STRAWBERRIES IN BALSAMIC

Don't mind the different layout, I will be trying a few new things around here and it may look strange until I get it right. Don't hesitate to shout if you see something you like or don't like.

This little dish has quickly become a favorite for summer around here. It can be served as a side dish to dinner which is what we do and I guess is a little strange. But you can also serve it with ice cream or whipped cream or over cheesecake for dessert. The options are endless and it's so easy. It would be a real crowd pleaser at a dinner party over store bought cake.

Ingredients:

.5 pound strawberries
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar

Directions:

1. Wash and then slice the strawberries

2. Mix the sugar and vinegar with the strawberries

3. Let rest for 30 min to an hour

4. Pour over something yummy or just eat them by themselves.
