BACKSPLASH TILED!

Actually, it's still not completely finished. We have to wait a few weeks to seal the grout and then it will be done. While this project was much more difficult that I originally anticipated, I am beyond pleased with our handi-work and the finished product.

We had a few trying moments like almost catching the condo on fire and having to re-grout because we let it dry too much to wipe it off correctly. But in the end we made no mistake that couldn't be fixed.

I'm not sure if we'll be tiling any time soon, but I won't be scared in the future, I'll just know what I'm getting myself into.

Next up is painting the walls in the kitchen. Any color ideas?

  1. It looks great! I'm sure it's such a good feeling to know that you did it yourself, too! For the paint, I think a gray that is on the bluish side would look really nice with the dark cabinets and white tile.

  3. Lisa,

Gray is the color we were thinking about! We have the hallway painted a light gray and we were going to just extend it into the kitchen.
