WHERE IS THE LESSON?

When things don't go your way in life or in business, it's difficult to look for the bright side. I've had a few of my own business decisions go wrong recently and it has taken me quite a while to figure out how to look positively on them. I have finally gotten to the lesson part.

The lesson part is when you look around and say to yourself "This was a miserable failure but what can I learn from it?" No matter what the experience is, even if it's a good one, there is a lesson. You can learn something. Even if it is to never make that mistake again. Sometimes it can highlight other skills you do have or areas that you need to improve on.

The real challenge is to remember your catalog of lessons when you move forward and make new desicions. Making the same mistake twice can really set you back emotionally so try to look back on all the lessons you've learned before making a big one.

By the way, how cute are these Hebrew letters? I know I've posted about stuffed letters before, but I just thought the Hebrew ones deserved a post of their own.

  1. Hi Avis, I too have had a few disastrous situations that were very trying and stressful, but it sounds like you have the right attitude! You just have to figure out the lesson learned, dust yourself off and move on. Best of luck with everything, Ashley
