EASY WHITE BEAN DIP FOR YOUR SUPER BOWL PARTY

I am Super excited about this weekend. Get it, Super? Anyways, I am throwing a shower for a dear friend tomorrow night and then the Super Bowl is on Sunday. So food preparation abounds. I accidentally made this dip the other night and will be making it for the shower. I think it would be a great, healthy dip for any Super Bowl party.

Ingredients:
1 can of cannellini beans OR soak your own
3 cloves of garlic, minced
4 tablespoons of olive oil
salt, pepper and red pepper flakes to taste
milk or water to achieve desired consistency

Directions:

1. Heat the olive oil in a small saucepan. Fry your garlic in the oil for no more than a minute. Remove from heat and add your beans.

2. Stir the beans to coat with olive oil and add your seasonings. I think you could also add some fresh herbs here if you are so inclined.

3. Transfer the beans to your food processor. Process the beans until smooth. You may need to add a couple of tablespoons of milk or water here to loosen up the dip.

4. Serve with bread and fresh veggies.
