KING OF POPS

Maybe you've noticed that's been kind of hot across the US lately. Maybe you live in a freezer and don't know what I'm talking about. Atlanta has had it's fair share of hotness in the past couple of weeks and I have a new favorite way to beat the heat.

King of Pops is a company that started here in Atlanta by brothers determined to provide an "ecologically responsible, fresh, all natural frozen treat in a fun neighborhood environment." They had been traveling in central america and wanted to bring the all natural frozen pops they had there, called paletas, back to the US.

Now they can be found at any and every event in Atlanta. They have a fleet of carts that seem to pop up wherever I am. They have these amazing flavors like Coconut Lemongrass and Coffee & Doughnuts, those are my personal favorites. So if you're in the area, or Athens or Charleston, please check them out. You won't regret it.
