READY TO TILE!

So our little kitchen makeover is getting very exciting this week. Here is an image of the current kitchen, complete with non-working dishwasher. BUT, on Friday, our new dishwasher arrives and today I go to pick up supplies for our back splash. I asked for your input a while ago and we've recently decided to go with white subway tile in a herringbone pattern.

I'm excited but a little nervous because I will be tackling the project mostly by myself. My dear husband is working his little butt off being a first year teacher so I'm in charge of the project. I plan to take it slow and not try to accomplish too much at a time although I know I'll get antsy at some point.
