I hope you all had a lovely weekend, we watched football, played pool and did some work on our tilling project. It's coming along as you can see. You might be asking why it has taken us so long to tile 20 square feet when we had a long weekend to complete it. Well it turns out that tiling, while completely doable is not easy. I have been working on it in my spare time and the husband doesn't really have spare time to speak of. So we've been taking it slow.
And that would be my advice for anyone that has never tiled before, take it slow and steady. We had to get some tile re-cut because I measured wrong the first time around and we had some electrical issues as well which was a little scary at the time but it's fine now. Actually, switching out the outlets from cream to white was the hardest part of the whole process. And the most expensive.
